Girl’s Squishy Tie Hat-Free Crochet Pattern

Stitches Used: ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), dec sc (decrease sc), fpdc (front post double crochet). Note: fpdc is worked in st from previous rnd.
Supplies: Size G Crochet Hook, 2 ounces Bernat Satin (sterling), for trim-½ ounce color 2, Yarn Needle.
Gauge: 7 sc = 2″, 9 sc = 2″
Directions
Rnd. 1: ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn. 3 sc
Rnd. 2: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, turn. 5 sc
Rnd. 3: sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 5 sc
Rnd. 4: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, turn. 7 sc
Rnd. 5: sc in first 3 st, fpdc in next sc on previous rnd, sc in next 3 st, ch 1, turn. 7 st
Rnd. 6: sc in each st across working an increase sc in the first and last sc, ch 1, turn. 9 sc
