Triangle Blue Shawl-Free Crochet Pattern
This is my next offering for a shawl! It works up fairly fast using dc’s. I used Paton’s Lace (love this yarn!), but most any type yarn will work for this pattern.

Hello. This is a beautiful shawl pattern. I’d love to make it, but I have a couple of questions first. Does it have a hood? I don’t see mention of one in your instructions, but the way the shawl is folded in the photo it appears that it either has a hood or is a square rather than a triangle. Am I just seeing things? lol… Either way, thanks very much for sharing!

Hi Lynn: It’s a flat shawl in a triangle, no hood. My photo skills are not very good, so I just folded the sides of the shawl over to fit everything in the picture. It’s very similar in shape to this: https://cobblerscabin.wordpress.com/happy-hookin/shawl-60-x-40-free-crochet-pattern/

Thank you so much for your speedy response. I’ve actually been wanting to do a project with the Paton’s Lace yarn, and this pattern looks perfect. So thanks again, and Happy New Year!

I went price-shopping at some of my favorite websites for the Paton’s Lace yarn, and I don’t know what you normally pay for it, but I found it for $3.99 at Smiley’s Yarns. That’s way cheaper than I found elsewhere, and it’s an everyday price. I thought you might be interested. I have dealt with Smiley’s numerous times, and always gotten fast and accurate service and amazingly low prices for quality yarns. They do have a $50 minimum, but they also have flat-rate shipping. Just go to smileysyarns.com and click on the “Internet Yarn Sale” link if you want to check it out.

No problem, and thank YOU for all the free patterns! They help me to creatively use up my yarn stash, which I’m pretty sure can be seen from space. Lol

It’s the 24dc + the 10 ch’s for the 34st…….I should change it to 24dc, 2-ch5 sps and 1 ch-2sp……..
