Supplies:  ¼ oz Sugar and Cream Cotton Yarn, size F/5/3.75mm hook, yarn needle.

Stitches Used: ch (chain), slst (slip stitch), dc (double crochet), dcdec (double crochet decrease), fpdc (front post double crochet), bpdc (back post double crochet).

Note: beginning ch3 counts as first dc.

Front Post Double Crochet: (fpdc): Yo hook, insert hook from front to back to front around post of indicated st, yo hook, pull up lp, [yo hook, pull through 2 lps] twice.

Back Post Double Crochet: (fpdc): Yo hook, insert hook from back to front to back around post of indicated st, yo hook, pull up lp, [yo hook, pull through 2 lps] twice.

Unless noted otherwise, always skip the st behind the fpdc and the st in front of the bpdc.

Gauge: 4 dc = 1”, 2 dc rows = 1”

Rnd. 1: ch10, dc in 3^rd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch3, turn.     8dc

Rnd. 2: dc in first dc, *fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc*, repeat twice, 2dc in last dc, ch3, turn.     10dc

Rnd. 3: dc in first dc, dc in next dc, *bpdc in next dc, fpdc in next dc*, repeat from *to* twice, dc in next dc, 2dc in last dc, ch3, turn.      12dc

Rnd. 4: dc in first dc, *fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc*, repeat from *to* 4 times, 2dc in last dc, ch3, turn.     14dc

Rnd. 5: dc in next dc, *bpdc in next dc, fpdc in next dc*, repeat from *to* 4 times, dc in last 2 dc, ch 3, turn.     14dc

Rnd. 6: *bpdc in next dc, fpdc in next dc*, repeat from *to* 5 times, dc in last dc, ch3, turn.    14dc

Rnd. 10: dc in each dc across, ch12, turn.      10dc

Rnd. 11: skip first 9 dc, slst in last dc, ch1, turn.   (handle)

Rnd. 12: work 15sc in ch-12sp, join with slst to last sc of previous rnd, fasten off.

Fold in half with right sides facing and sew side seams.
