I have been crocheting for many years and have never seen the instruction “sorking”. What is this instruction and how is it done?
November 22, 2010 at 2:29 pm
My apologies…..it’s a typo, should read: working……….

I love the little pink & white sweater with the white hat at the top of your page. Is there a pattern for it, or have I just overlooked it?

I have a question on the button boots. In round 1, it says “with F hook, pc, ch6…” What does the “pc” refer to. Is it the Peaches and Cream yarn?
Thanks!
Carol

Hi Carol Ann: it does…..I have since removed the “pc”. My apologies for the confusion. Happy Hookin’!

what does it mean to “work in the top of the chain?”
February 25, 2012 at 8:01 am
Usually that means to work in the top loop of a chain. Hope this helps. I don’t think that applies to the AG slippers…..is it in another pattern??

I love these slippers and I do crochet but am having trouble understanding the last round where you attach the flower o the slipper. Tried several ways but just not getting it. What am I doing wrong?
January 28, 2014 at 9:03 am
It may be easier to sew the top on……place the circle part on the top, front of the shoe, sew around the front, then attach yarn with a slst in next ch-1 sp on slipper top, work sc, hdc, 2dc, hdc, sc in ch-1 sp (three times)…..then fasten off.

i am not familiar with sugar and cream cotton yarn what is it comparable to?
May 3, 2014 at 7:26 am
There’s Peaches and Cream or I Love This Cotton (from Hobby Lobby)……it’s a #4 weight cotton yarn……Red Heart Super Saver would work too as it does not have to be a cotton yarn.

I have just made these for my own doll who is 35 years old. I love them on her. She has big feet though so I just used a larger hook and bulkier yarn and hey presto Suzie has some slippers. Thank you for the pattern.
