AG-South of the Border-Crochet Pattern

This outfit includes the skirt, blouse with waist tie, shawl, shoes and a skimmer hat.  A perfect little ensemble for a trip to Mexico or to the Caribbean Islands.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Supplies: Size 1 Steel Crochet Hook, size 10 Crochet Cotton-200 yards-Green, 250 yards-White, 250 yards-Pink, Girl’s Pony Tail Holder (or 6”-1/8”-1/4” elastic with ends sewn together to form ring, optional-8 small silk roses, 13” rick rack, Elmer’s School Glue (or other stiffening agent).

Stitches Used: ch (chain), sc (single crochet), dec sc (decrease single crochet), hdc (half double crochet), dc (double crochet).
Note: beginning ch 3 counts as first dc, beginning ch 5 counts as beginning dc, ch 2.

Gauge: 6 dc = 1”, 3 dc rows = 1”
