When working with 2 strands of yarn, place one strand on your right and the other on your left.  This will reduce the amount of twisting, making it much easier to remove stitches if there is an error that needs to be corrected.

Want to make a real fluffy pom-pom?  Wrap yarn around 2 fingers at least 50 times, while still on fingers, securely tie in center of wrapped yarn.  Slide off fingers…….to fluff up…….take a clean, dry toothbrush and brush the yarn strings of the pom-pom until they become fluffy.   Try it out! It works great!     http://cobblerscabin.wordpress.com/the-pattern-shop/pattern-shop-ii/toddler-berets-pattern/
